100 years after the rise of the Nazi Party, history repeats itself

by Mike Nichols, Publisher | January 19, 2021 | 12:04 p.m.

On July 29, 1921, Adolph Hitler became the leader of the National Socialist German Workers' (Nazi) Party. Little noticed at the time, that event marked the beginning of 24 years of worldwide terror that did not end until May 8, 1945 when the little dictator gave his longtime paramour and wife of 24 hours, Eva von Braun, a cyanide pill and turned a Luger on himself as Russian troops closed in on the city. Loyalists

The world promised afterwards, "Never again!" Germany was stripped of its military except for the purpose of internal security and national defense. Allied troops from the United States, Great Britain, France and the Soviet Union occupied divided Germany, East and West, for the next 45 years. The United Nations was established to monitor world peace and assure that a Hitler or a Nazi Germany would never rise again.

Yet the world has committed the unforgivable sin of forgetting history. Now, it repeats itself, as should be expected.

My readers may think that to be hyperbole. Where, they may ask, are the concentration camps, the Jewish ghettos? When did our own Kristallnacht occur? Who are the Brown Shirts? Has the U.S. Capitol been burned? Did we miss all that?

Let me be blunt: Those events, mirror images of what happened in Nazi Germany in the 1920s and 1930s, either have occurred or are in the planning stages in our country, taking on different forms in some cases but nonetheless real. Let's examine that.

This past summer we saw riots across the nation, ostensibly over the death of George Floyd at the hands of a police officer in Minneapolis. But the unrest and violence was actually about silencing or minimizing conservatives, particularly Trump supporters. Those uprisings, propagated by Antifa and BLM — the "Brown Shirts" of the new Democrat Party Fascists — destroyed $2 billion in property, intimidated small business owners and committed violence that resulted in at least 26 deaths, including 12 police officers. Those violent civil upheavals were Kristallnacht and the repression of freedom and liberty by a regime change mentality on the party of the Democrats.

No, the U.S. Capitol has not been burned. But it has been invaded. Not by so-called "Trump insurrectionists" as the Democrat Fascists and their state-run media would have us believe. That actually occurred just over two and a half years ago during the Bret Kavanaugh SCOTUS confirmation hearings, when — again — Antifa and BLM mobs took over the Rotunda, the galleries of the House and Senate and the foyer in between the two chambers. They threatened violence against legislators if Kavanaugh was confirmed.

The events of January 6 were not led by Trump supporters, though Trump supporters certainly participated, to their shame. Those few need to face the consequences of their knee-jerk reactions as surely as law enforcement needs to be forced to honesty about the identify of the rest.

The Fascist media will not tell you, in fact will lie to you, about the backgrounds of those being arrested. With only a handful of exceptions, those being arrested are — yet again — Antifa agitators. Masquerading as so-called QAnon (an organization that does not exist) these subversives took advantage of the overly hyped up followers of the president and led them to vandalism and threats against Democrat lawmakers.

The plot to control information is working marvelously for our new Fascists asserting control in Washington. In fact, their rhetoric is turning toward those concentration camps that have not yet appeared. Those unthinkable abominations, however, may not be far away.

Increasingly, we hear calls from our new Fascists for "deprogramming" or "reeducation" of Trump supporters. Just Tuesday, Washington Post columnist Eugene Robinson declared on CNN that those enthusiasts for the president are "cultists" who must be deprogrammed. Also Tuesday, Katie Courik of the media company by the same name asked a guest on her morning show about how "we" should go about reeducating those who back Donald J. Trump.

More alarmingly, just a few days ago, the new Fascists suggested that our children must be removed from our homes to "protect" them from our undesirable influences — those that support freedom, liberty, democracy and the Constitution. Those things that are foreign to these subversive Democrats, in other words.

The threat to our democratic republic is real. The extremists, even the just left of "moderate," in the Democrat Party seek total control and espouse total control to quell any dissent. This is real, it is now and it must be thwarted.

Power, privilege and prestige are the evil desires and goals of these Fascist Democrats. Those are the categories into which every sin denoted in the Bible must fall. Our soon-to-be president has acquiesced to most of the demands made by these anti-democratic fools, and those that he has not yet embraced will soon become his mantra as well.

This is pure evil. This is Satan, who must be fought at every turn — peaceably for as long as possible but by the force of American will as becomes necessary.
