As the electoral buzz continues to grow around the nomination of Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) as Joe Biden's would-be vice-president, interest is also growing around her little-known Jamaican heritage. ACV Reports has been investigating for several week the report she is a descendant of the infamous white slave owner in Jamaica, Hamilton Brown.
Hamilton Brown was white, an Irishman.
Such a revelation would destroy her long-standing narrative that she is the product of a disadvantaged African American family. The belief that she is "African American and female" was the primary reason she was chosen from a list of similar Democrat women. (The fact that narrow set of qualifications is, in and of itself, racist and sexist appears to have escaped Biden's keepers.)
So-called "fact-checkers" have already branded the claims of Harris' ancestor being an Irish slaver in Jamaica as fake news, I have compiled irrefutable proof, however, from her own father’s writings and official records in Jamaica.
It is undeniable: Kamala Harris’ ancestors were slave owners.
There is even a town named after her great-great-great-grandfather, known as Brown Town. If it is true (and I know it to be so), it would seem to follow that she is not a victim of ancestral slavery, as she has claimed throughout her multiple political campaigns. Rather, she is a direct financial and social beneficiary of it.
Snopes did a lengthy piece in which they claimed to debunk the slaver narrative, concluding it to be “unproven” — which, according to them, means “insufficient evidence exists to establish the given claim as true”. Similar questionable fact-checks were also published by other outlets.
So I have no alternative. In this article, I present the evidence: Kamala Harris is descended from Irish slave owner Hamilton Brown. He is the namesake of Brown’s Town in Jamaica, at one time a notorious Irish slave market. Most despicable of all, he enslaved his own people.
He recruited massive numbers of Irish migrants to Jamaica to work on his sugar plantations after the British empire abolished slavery in 1833. In that, he was part of a massive network of Irish slavers throughout the Western Hemisphere. In the U.S., the Irish were sold into slavery, often right off the boat, to Southern plantation owners. Some were even sold to black farmers and ranchers.
According to Kamala Harris’ father, "Miss Chrishy was the granddaughter of Hamilton Brown who is on record as plantation and slave owner and founder of Brown’s Town." (Photo: Jamaican National Archives)
In a piece published in Jamaica Global Online titled “Reflections of a Jamaican Father,” Kamala Harris’s father Donald J. Harris reflects about their past. He writes:
“My roots go back, within my lifetime, to my paternal grandmother Miss Chrishy (née Christiana Brown, granddaughter of Hamilton Brown who is on record as plantation and slave owner and founder of Brown’s Town) and to my maternal grandmother Miss Iris (née Iris Finegan, farmer and educator, from Aenon Town and Inverness, ancestry unknown to me).
“Looking back now I can say, with certainty and all due credit to Miss Iris, that it was this early intimate exposure to operation of the sugar industry at the local level of small-scale production with family labour and free wage-labour [Author's note: In other words, slavery], coupled with my growing curiosity about how these things came to be, that led me, once I started reading about the history of Jamaica, to a closer study of the sugar industry. I came then to understand its origin as a system of global production and commerce, based on slave labour, with Jamaica as a key component of that system from its very start [all emphasis added].
According to the Jamaican Family Search online ancestry database, Hamilton Brown owned more than 100 slaves on several plantations: The result was that the Brown family prospered, became unbelievably rich due to the land they held in production of sugar and rice.
That fortune lasted over five generations, allowing Donald Harris, Kamala's father, to afford a U.S. education at the University of California-Berkley. When his daughter was an infant, he was a teaching fellow and doctoral candidate at Cal-Berkley. He went on to become a Left-leaning professor of economics at Stanford, from where he retired in 1987.
The Jamaican Clerk of Real Property in Brown Town listed at least seven slave-dependent estates across the island nation country owned by Hamilton Brown.
“Hamilton Brown owned several plantations over the years 1817 to about 1845. According to the 1818 Almanac which can be found on this site [Jamaican Family Search], he was the owner of Minard Estate (128 slaves) which he must have acquired from its previous owner (John Bailie) in 1815 or later.
“The number of slaves on this estate approximates the number of slaves in one of the registers attributed to his ownership (124 slaves). The other register (86 slaves) cannot be assigned to any estate, although he is listed in Almanacs for subsequent years as owning several such estates: Antrim, Grier Park, Colliston, Little River, Retirement and Unity Valley.”

Hamilton Brown officially swore to the authenticity of this record, stating:
“I Hamilton Brown do swear that the above list and return consisting of two sheets is a true perfect and complete list and return, to the best of my knowledge and belief in every particular therein mentioned of all and every slaves possessed by me as owner, considered as most permanently settled, worked and employed in the Parish of Saint Ann on the twenty Eight day of June One thousand Eight Hundred and Seventeen without fraud, deceit or evasion So help me God.
"Sworn before me this twenty fourth day of September 1817 [signed by Jamaican Clerk of Real Property, Brown Town]”
Hamilton Brown’s slave ownership shows up in other records, as well. According to University College London’s project “Legacies of British Slave-ownership”:
“Hamilton Brown was instrumental in the importing of several hundred labourers and their families from Ireland to Jamaica between 1835 and 1840. The project describes Hamilton Brown as a “Major attorney and resident slave-owner in Jamaica.”
Again, the wealth accumulated at the expense of enslaved Irish men and women created the financial and power base that Kamala Harris enjoys today. She comes by her extreme Leftist views by inheritance as well.
Donald Harris was best described as a Marxist economist, a man who disavowed capitalistic free markets as "enslaving" to working men and women. Consider the irony in that philosophy.
Based on the evidence above, the truth is out. U.S. Sen. Kamala Harris is descended from the 19th-century slave owner Hamilton Brown. Her claims of being from a disadvantaged "African American heritage" are patently false.
The influence of her slave-owning 19th Century family and the Marxist thought of her parents complete the picture of someone who should never, ever be allowed near a seat of power, particularly not a heartbeat away from the presidency.
The truth also begs yet another question: Kamala Harris has unabashedly lied repeatedly and with conviction about who she is. So what else is Kamala Harris lying about?
