The Chinese laboratory at the center of scrutiny over a potential coronavirus leak has been using U.S. government money to carry out research on bats from the caves which scientists believe are the original source of the deadly outbreak.
The Wuhan Institute of Virology undertook coronavirus experiments on mammals captured more than 1,000 miles away in Yunnan Province which were funded by a $3.7 million grant from the US government. The money was authorized by the Obama Administration despite the fact the Department of Homeland Security had barred funding of foreign research in countries unfriendly to the United States.
Who specifically wanted the funding to proceed? President Donald Trump’s legal counsel, Rudy Giuliani, suggested last week that the U.S. Justice Department should investigate key members of the past Barack Obama administration on the Wuhan, China, laboratory, to see what they knew and when they knew it.
And then he mentioned Dr. Anthony Fauci specifically. Politically speaking, the perception of one of this administration’s loudest voices on the coronavirus front — the one calling for shutdowns and shut-ins and contact tracing-slash-government-tracking of American citizens — well, it doesn’t look good to have him tied financially to Wuhan.
Giuliani then he accused the prior Team Obama of sending $3.7 million to the lab in 2014 — at a time when that Obama’s Department of Homeland Security had banned the funding of any lab that was involved in virus experimentation.
Sequencing of the Wuhan coronavirus genome has traced it back to bats found in Yunnan caves but it was first thought to have transferred to humans at an animal market in Wuhan. The revelation that the Wuhan Institute was experimenting on bats from that area already known to be the source of COVID-19 — also known as the Wuhan coronavirus — brought the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) explanation under scrutiny.
President Trump has just this week found out about the funding and said in yesterday’s press briefing that he wants to look into it and stop it if U.S. funding is continuing.
Lawmakers and pressure groups were quick to hit out at U.S. funding being provided for the dangerous and cruel animal experiments at the Wuhan Institute. Just as quickly, the Left-leaning “fact-checking” websites went to work trying to discredit the claim.
The Wuhan Institute of Virology, the most advanced laboratory of its type on the Chinese mainland, is less than a mile from the now infamous “wet market” that was thought to be the location of the original transfer of the virus from animals to humans.
According to documents obtained by ACV Reports early today, scientists there experimented on bats as part of a project funded by the U.S. National Institutes of Health, which continues to license the Wuhan laboratory to receive American money for experiments. The records was forwarded to ACV Reports from The Daily Mail reporters Frances Mulraney and Glen Owen, who broke this store in mid-April.
The Irony is that not one single so-called mainstream U.S. news outlet, including Fox News and OANN, picked up the story.
The NIH is the primary agency of the United States government responsible for biomedical and public health research. The Wuhan Institute lists them on their website as a partner as well as several other American academic institutions.
Other U.S. partners include the University of Alabama, the University of North Texas, Harvard University, and the National Wildlife Federation.
As part of the NIH research at the institute, scientists grew a coronavirus in a lab and injected it into three-day-old piglets. The news that Wuhan coronavirus bats were under research there means that a leak from the Wuhan laboratory can no longer be ruled out.
One theory of how the Wuhan coronavirus spread outside the Level IV lab in the city is that researchers and technicians were accidentally sprayed with blood infected with the virus. (Photo: Johannes Eisele/AFP via Getty Images)
According to one unverified claim, scientists at the institute may have become infected after being inadvertently sprayed with blood containing the virus, and then passed it on to the local community. Shi Zhengli, a deputy director of the institute, claims none of the genome sequences she completed matched their virus samples.
That is highly questionable. Dr. Gerald Keusch, Professor of Medicine and International Health at Boston University’s Schools of Medicine and Public Health, defended the lab, stressing that no release of viruses from a high-level lab, such as the one in Wuhan, “has ever happened.” He further defended his peers in the Chinese city as he said: 'The Wuhan lab is designed to the highest standards with redundant safety systems and the highest level of training.
While that is true, the Wuhan BSL-4 lab from which the Wuhan Coronavirus might have escaped does not meet the standards of Level IV labs around the rest of the world. The U.S. intelligence community warned of security and safety problems at lab in 2018.
“During interactions with scientists at the WIV laboratory, they noted the new lab has a serious shortage of appropriately trained technicians and investigators needed to safely operate this high-containment laboratory,” states the Jan. 19, 2018, cable.
Drafted by two officials from the embassy’s Environment, Science and Health sections who met with the WIV scientists, the report cites several other security and safety violations they identified. The State Department declined to comment to ACV Reports on multiple details contained in this story.
So here we have the very image of President Trump’s response to the Wuhan coronavirus, Anthony Fauci, doing an end run around DHS rules to fund a virology lab in a hostile country. In the film “Plandemic” we see, at the very end, Fauci accurately predicting a major pandemic would hit the U.S. during the Trump Administration.
How the hell did he know? Seems to me, we deserve to find out.
The Chinese are at fault they should take the blame and stop all this nonsense the whole world is sick and tired I'm sick and tired of everything I want President Trump to win as president because he's the best at least he's not hiding in a basement like like vice President Biden haven't seen hide nor hair of him what is the afraid of our president stands up with us that's what we want
